Anderseits sind auch Minimalwerte von 50 bis 60%o bekannt, welche Werte wohl die unterste Grenze darstellen, die, ohne besondere Vorkehrungen, im Seilbahnbetrieb auf offener Strecke noch angewendet werden können. Kleine Steigungen sind für den Betriebsablauf hinderlich, da dann der Hangabtrieb der Wagen nicht mehr genügt, um ein rasches Auslaufen des Seils zu gewährleisten.
